Bitcoin, huh? It's been an intriguing puzzle, starting with Satoshi Nakamoto (a mysterious person that we don't know from Adam). Back in 2008 the Bitcoin idea seemed worthwhile, but the actual implementation has taught us a lesson: trustless systems are a dream not worth chasing.

@Fourmilab Sorry, John, your testing program is too short for today's CPUs. At millions of iterations, your test measures iteration speed. Increasing math computation x10, with 10 iterations, Python and Javascript are roughly equal. Please consider using a more demanding program.
