@_abhisivasailam @getdbt @dagsterio What role does something like plural.sh play in enabling such platformization? Are there alternatives to it for easing the self-hosting burden? Or does platformization mean back to a SaaS model, rather than self-hosted?

And this is why the market actors with the most _potential_ are @getdbt (which also has the most users and capital of this gen of cos...) and @dagsterio -- if only they take metadata/platformization as first-order concerns in their strategies and, more importantly, can execute.

Benn asks the $20B question: who will end up the control tower for data tech? I don't know -- but I do know this: they who control the metadata, control the world...

@nson_legend 10 years is long time in cloud/sw. Next year other platforms (MS Teams, and even Webex) gain mkt share from Zoom. In a few years, not sure which platform is dominant.

@antonyslumbers Or find a 5 ghz WiFi. The reason Bluetooth reduced your WiFi throughput was that you were using 2.4 ghz WiFi, the same frequency band that Bluetooth operates in.

A Wifi tip. If I turn Bluetooth off on my iPhone X I get about 2.5 times faster WiFi. Don’t know why but if you are conference calling or suchlike on your iphone turn Bluetooth off.
