@belfastwill Tbh it's a lot like the agriculture industry. Everyone eats, but many are not in tune with what brings food from farm to table, or farm-processing-grocery store.

@belfastwill A lot of people don't grow up around beaches or even community pools. Even rivers, it's not safe to go above ankle/calf deep water if you can't swim & aren't surrounded by those who can. I've always wanted to teach it. It's an essential skill to me but too $$ for some.

Covid screwed up my sense of time so badly that I had to go back through my photos to figure out how old my dog even is. She's 8 and I'm a little heartbroken that her life is probably more than half over and it felt like "a couple years" for me so far 😭💙
