I was expecting some of these reactions because all people seem to read is “she had 6 spare tickets.” If you’re willing to judge, at least be willing to hear the full story. This is my first concert ever, and the only concert I’ve genuinely wanted to attend. Back in January, getting tickets was absolute horrible and chaos. My cousin, her friend, my friend, my uncle and I were all trying for BTS tickets in both London and Brussels. With everyone helping, we secured tickets for multiple dates because nobody knew what would actually go through during the sale, and we were all still deciding whether we would attend one location or two / if we would all together or just me and my friend. When I decided to attend only London instead of Brussels + London or just Brussels, I immediately sold my Brussels tickets at face value. For London, we originally had seated tickets in Sections 525 and 320 that only my uncle managed to get. My friend and I were not able to get any London tickets. Only Belgium. A few weeks later, I found pitch tickets for London and bought them because I wanted to surprise my friend for her first OT7 concert and her recent birthday. After telling her and discussing it properly, we decided this week not to use the pitch tickets. She is quite small, this is my first time ever attending an event of this size, and we were concerned about the crowds and extreme heat. Because of that, we planned to stick with our original seated tickets that my uncle got. Then today, Ticketmaster unexpectedly released more tickets. I know there’s a saying that “there are no bad seats at a BTS concert,” and I agree with that. Being there at all is something I’m of course extremely grateful for. But this is also my first concert everrrr in my life. The only concert I’ve ever truly wanted to attend. So of course I had a personal preference on where to sit. If I had the chance to sit closer to the stage and see them more clearly / experience this moment from (what I perceive) a better view, of course I was going to take it. The moment I secured the tickets I wanted, I released the others and sold them at face value. Every spare London ticket was sold the same day (today within 2 hours) without any profit. All buyers can confirm that themselves. So yes, at one point I had “spare” tickets. No, I wasn’t collecting tickets to resell for profit. No, I wasn’t trying to stop other people from attending. Every ticket I didn’t need was immediately sold at face value to people that really wanted to go, exactly like I had already done with my Brussels tickets months earlier. People are free to dislike this explanation, but at least think about what actually could be the possible reason, don’t assume that I was randomly collecting tickets “for fun.” There was a lot I had to take into account like diff cities, different dates, seated versus standing tickets, safety concerns, the heat, and coordinating plans with several people. Behind every ticket decision, there was a actual legit reason. None of it was random, careless / or done “just because I could”. So yeah In the end, I made my final choice, and sold every ticket I didn’t need straight away. I got the seats I hoped for, other ARMYs got tickets they wanted, nobody paid extra, and no seat was left empty :) — And also, if you saw me tweeting about having extra tickets and you were looking for one, you could have just asked. I would have happily sold it to you, just like I did with everyone else! — Also wthelly I literally sponsored 2 full tickets (€2K) when I did the ticket giveaway back in Jan as well, so I’ll always keep others in mind as much as I can…
