So, this is how @Bell_Aliant does “installs” now. You are on your own. “Self-install” is apparently the default; if you want them to do it, it’s an extra $150 on top of all other costs. Of course, no one tells you that when you sign up… thanks @BellAliant @Bell_Aliant

@Bell_Aliant The call went to my son, who received the notification immediately upon hanging up. Maybe its a scam - I had to email support@collecttocell.com. If this isn't Bell, you really need to beef up some security because how else would they know I made a collect call.

Hey @Bell_Aliant I tried to make a collect call from a payphone this weekend. I got charged $15.99 for one minute 30 seconds. WTAF.

@Bell_Aliant Bell Aliant hung up on me when I alerted them to scammers (900-500-5131) on my land line call display as CRA in tax time! Only names which should display are the 411 directory or my contacts.Bell is helping scammers rip you off by making no change&doing nothing! Speak out!

@viccallan We can appreciate the frustration these calls cause. We have had others report this type of call as well. It is not a call from us.

@Bell_Aliant FYI, another ROBO Call scam call. Something to the effect. "We are calling because we are upgrading the lines in your area to fiberOp." I'm in Mount Pearl, NL and have been on fiberop for a while now. No I don't know the number, my land line dosen't have a display.

They have sent a new modem that didn't fix the problem, lied about maintenance/migration and have not shown up for two planned appointments.

I’m less than a day in and I’m already regretting switching to @Bell_Aliant (or @bell I’m not really sure, and I don’t think they know).The bureaucracy is mild blowing. 5 calls today, one call back (who said he was the wrong department). 7 days for their wifi app to work! Really?
