She has a soft coat, a gentle spirit, and a deeply loving personality. Fiona absolutely adores people and has never met a human she did not love. She is especially sweet and gentle, and would do best in a home with children over age 8 simply due to her large size. Fiona loves to cuddle and stay close to her people, making her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal shadow. In the home, Fiona is calm, well behaved, and easy to live with. She is fully housebroken, has free roam of the house, and does not chew or destroy items. She walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and knows basic commands including sit and stand. Her overall energy level is medium. Fiona does need to be the only dog in the home, as she does not do well with other dogs. She has mild separation anxiety and currently takes a once daily medication to help her feel more comfortable. She is also fearful of thunderstorms and fireworks. Fiona prefers not to be crated or penned, as confinement increases her anxiety. Health wise, Fiona is in great shape and only needs a routine professional dental cleaning. Fiona has experienced several home transitions through no fault of her own, and we are committed to finding her a stable, loving forever home where she can truly thrive.
