@galacticgore2 @semiCARTERmvtic I purposely removed myself from fan forums shortly after he died because there was a shift - it became too much.17yrs later my algorithm brought me to MJ tweets because of the biopic and it’s been really weird. I miss the days of counting down to TII on MJJC and it being all love

@BLKLiberation84 @ashante any regrets on how you wrote about Michael Jackson a week after he died? “Examples of the odd” He was a human being, not “wacko jacko”.

Pure insanity. This is some straight up Jim Crow anti-black hate here. I was so out of it when he died so I never saw these KKK headlines and coming from the Boston Hearld how fitting. Basically the Mississippi of the East.

Devastated by the sudden loss of my idol in June 2009, I quietly tucked away newspaper articles about Michael Jackson when he passed. Looking at these for the first time in almost 17 years, I can’t help but notice how cruel the media was to him, even in death. More photos cont…

@yahzmineyael To certain people Michael was worth a lot more dead than alive. And he knew they were coming for him.

I’m a conspiracy girl through and through, and I do think there’s an energetic benefit for some with the biopic mania, but I don’t think people realize that Michael’s name rings bells every time the estate moves. They’re on TikTok saying they are trying to resurrect Michael, but really this is just the biggest mania around him post death because over the years more and more people have realized his innocence. And people have also realized his name can make them a check.

@Songhyekyowife @offthemuse There’s a lot we can learn from his life ❤️at the end of the day he was a human, and I wish more people saw him as a human being, rather than a celebrity. Unfortunately his power and Sony catalogue made him a target, and I think he was ultimately killed for it.

@bellako2018 @offthemuse Yeah, but it seems like he was treated as a money generating machine. Like everyone expected something from him all the time. It's exhausting and cruel. His life story literally gave me a different perspective about money and fame.

@bellako2018 @offthemuse I believe so too. I would actually be very anxious about his health if I was there during this. That man needed rest. 😭

@offthemuse Look into the AEG emails/lawsuit. He was in poor health from the stress and medications. AEG knew people were concerned he would die but continued to push the shows, threatening that they’d take everything from him if he cancels. He was worth more dead than alive to a lot of ppl.

@mjsgoodfish I wouldn’t consider this to be a healthy period of his life. He was struggling a lot with substance abuse in those years. Those years bring me a lot of sadness - you can see it in his eyes. Probably similar struggles that he also had during This Is It.

@xForeverMichael @semiCARTERmvtic It wasn’t just the edit-nothing should’ve been filmed in the first place. He was not in a clear state of mind in that period of his life, and acting erratically(balcony incident). No one should’ve filmed him in that state - the fact that no one on his team stopped it is suspicious

@bellako2018 @semiCARTERmvtic No one seems to be mentioning the fact that Michael was supposed to watch and approve of the final edit before it premiered but B*shir bolted. That’s part of what MJ meant when he said he “broke every contract.” I agree that scene should have been stopped in the first place tho

@billiejeanse Will they talk about the doctors that circled him like vultures? Enabling his addiction and introducing him to the drug that killed him? They can’t talk about MJ’s state of mind in the last 20 yrs of his life without acknowledging the substances that played a huge role in it.

Lionsgate Film Chief confirms they are hard at work on ‘MICHAEL 2’ and promises a “big satisfying movie”: “We’re very, very confident that we’ve got an incredibly entertaining movie that will appeal once again to a global audience as the pieces come together.”

@osirisdelaluna @raveun2symphony Yes but that’s why he had a team of people around him who knew better and knew the optics and extreme risk he was taking. And they still let these situations occur. Especially when they could see he was under the influence and not of sound mind

@bruneaux_mahs It blows my mind that the most famous person in the world allowed so many random people and families to get close to him. Did he not have anyone on his team looking out for him and warning him the risky position he was in?

@semiCARTERmvtic The situations he put himself in are just mind blowing. I say this a big fan. The last 10 yrs of his life was just a series of horrible decisions. It only further leads me to believe the ppl he surrounded himself with had nefarious intentions, and he paid for that with his life.

@bellako2018 That's what I mean.... Allowing that to be documented, which is irresponsible to begin with. An intoxicated adult interacting with a presumably ill child then having a camera film that for sanitizing purposes.... Everyone is out of their minds!

@wingheart There’s no such thing as coincidences. They tried to get him to break while he was alive but they couldn’t. So they killed him for the catalogue. I dare them to tell the truth about this in the second biopic, instead of whatever fantasy they’ll be trying to sell.
