@rukasumiii @necrolipe the modern version of the t239 is not the same exact revision as released in 2020. yes its a modern revision of hardware from 2020, which still is no issue, its not outdated by any means.

The Nvidia T239 which features an Octa-core ARM Cortex-A78C CPU (Octa-core is notable as it wasn’t a thing when the ARM chip released in 2020 but revisions have made it possible) was officially released alongside the Switch 2 in 2025. The GPU does use the ampere technology found in the 30 series cards from 2020, however the perfomance is beyond impressive for the power draw of 20-45 watts as opposed to the 200+ watts home consoles and PCs require. Whether you like it or not, the Switch 2 is not overpriced, and the technology is certainly not outdated. It wouldn’t have been possible for this console to exist in 2016. Even at a higher price point.
