This time of year is all about conversations. Bruce was an elite talent developer, and I fear that the number of mid-majors he brought in isn’t sustainable for the current staff to be successful. I just think it would have been easier on everyone to pick from power conference options, but maybe we can’t afford it? Who knows.

@AuPropaganda It would be much easier to develop transfers from established programs then mid Major schools. Do you not agree with that? Bruce could do it, but most coaches can’t at this scale

If you think I lost, then you don’t understand what I’m saying. I get that under Bruce we were able to sign several low-level kids and turn them into solid basketball players, but Bruce is gone now and the path would be a lot easier if we brought in transfers from established programs. That is a fact.

I get it, but Bruce made each of them a lot better than those schools did, and I have my doubts on Stephen’s ability to do the same. It would be a lot easier if the guys we were bringing in had big competition experience already.
