My wife had to call to learn that only just now at 8am had anyone actually begun to work on our situation. @evergypower could have informed my family so we could prepare workplaces and other necessities, but instead we just knew they'd assigned a crew... that hadn't started yet.

My power has been out for 32 hours now. The status according to #Evergy has been "crew assigned" for about half that time. That's not a helpful or meaningful update and I don't feel they take seriously their mandate to supply electricity to their community.
