@LuizaJarovsky I 100% agree re. opting in. I uncovered recently that my CRM added AI to its terms of services to use my content to train its AI model. The only way to opt-out was to contact legal. Keep up the great work Luiza.

Comments: ➵ It's a great first step that Sam Altman is straightforward and affirmative regarding creators' compensation claims; ➵ There are two relevant topics when discussing copyright/legitimacy/compensation claims in the context of AI training: - having data used to TRAIN the AI model - having data OUTPUT by the AI model Sam Altman only talks about the latter "I would like to be able to opt out of people generating art in my style," but the former is also important. Creators should be able to choose not to be part of AI training. ➵ In my opinion, @OpenAI's best bet would be an OPT-IN system for AI training. People interested in participating in AI training can choose to do so (and get compensation for that, whatever the compensation model is). Those who don't want to be part of it shouldn't be required to do anything. Autonomy is essential, and we should strive to create an "AI culture" that respects it. We have entered into a world where this history will be forever endlessly questioned and ultimately forgotten because it will be assumed it was AI. It will encompass every historic situation and be so confabulated it will just be easier for most to assume it’s AI. What is real?
