@_fels1 @AkiliSuper She didn't ditch the project; Linda Nonsense & Jubilee are funded by the same, slow-punchered, expired, politician!

@orengo_james This "Mageuzi" mentality is now stale. You should already have outgrown it. Leave it to the likes of Babu & Sifuna. You look out of place.

@themayor_ke This is wishfull thinking. Where is Linda Mwanchi "gaining traction"?

Most of us roast Oburu, but I think it is extremely difficult to be in his position right now.
First, I don’t believe Oburu even wanted that party position to begin with. It appears to have been imposed on him by Ruto and other individuals who wanted to influence ODM from behind the scenes, and Oburu, perhaps pragmatically, chose to go along with it.
Secondly, the Linda ground faction is in a complete dilemma. They must make hefty demands to Ruto just to convince their supporters that they will be part of the government, yet they lack the numbers to justify those very demands. It’s a bit like negotiating from strength… without the strength.
On the other hand, Linda Mwananchi is gaining traction across the country and connecting effortlessly with ordinary citizens, while the out-of-touch Linda ground is struggling significantly with numbers, even in Luo land.
Oburu now finds himself under strict supervision, carefully gatekept by figures like Wanga and Junet. At the same time, he must align with Ruto wants, keep an eye on leaders like Edwin Sifuna, and remain mindful of the ever-sensitive dynamics within the Raila family, not forgetting that age is steadily catching up with him. In short, it’s a role that comes with many bosses, but very little room to breathe.
Even if Oburu wanted to step aside from that party leader position, there are powerful forces behind the scenes that would likely ensure he stays exactly where he is.
In your opinion, do you think Oburu is leading the party… or simply managing expectations from all sides?

This app is very strange. Yesterday morning someone was arguing that the government should use millions of taxpayers money to settle an impeached, deranged tribalist because it is rightfully his. In the afternoon, the same person was asking why a stadium is being built in Wajir for Madaraka Day yet the event can successfully be held under a tree. This is because the county doesn't have hospitals and water (both of which are functions of county governments). Don't forget Wajir County has received Ksh. 40 billion in the last 4 financial years that has all been used to build malls and apartments in Eastleigh and South C, not to mention their own revenu.

@Naomikibandi President Uhuru (2013–2022): Targeted 500,000 but completed only ~1,500–3,000 units
President Ruto (2022–present): Over 4,700 units handed over by April 2026.

The ground is shifting and the time for business as usual is over because the state of our nation demands that we speak truth to power with unwavering clarity. We must remain vigilant as the President’s recent remarks about sending those who disturb him home reveal a chilling disregard for democratic dissent. The circumstances surrounding Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga demand a full and transparent investigation that cannot be brushed aside.
It is a bitter irony to see local leaders endorsing outside candidates for the Deputy Presidency while overlooking the undisputed presidential material within Luo Nyanza. We must stop underselling our own potential at the altar of political convenience and finally recognize the strength we already possess.
To those who believe in the Linda Mwananchi vision, the time for sitting on the fence has ended. We salute Hon. Ruth Odinga for speaking our language and stand in firm solidarity with Hon. Millie Mabona. Do not be intimidated by those in power because your voice is the pulse of the people. The fire of liberation is spreading from our upcoming rally in Meru County to a future homecoming in Siaya County where we will speak directly to our people. This journey is not for the faint hearted, but we remain unbowed.
Today, we stood in solidarity with the family of the late Sylvester Akumu Otieno in Ndori, East Asembo. As an astute businessman and a community role model, he was an epitome of kindness and a beloved husband to Rarieda Sub County Women Coordinator, Mama Emma Atieno Otieno.

@orengo_james Orengo can't cheat anyone that he can run for the presidency and win these elections. And even if he wins, how will he develop Kenya if a mere county of Siaya ema otame. As an MP, he also did nothing for years. Running for the sake is your democratic right, but do it alone.

This is how unfair and unjust the government resources were distributed in the past.
Uhuru had the guts to advertise tarmacking of rural roads in Central Kenya ONLY.
The same people who enjoyed government resources ALONE are today lecturing the leaders of North Eastern how undeveloped NE is.
William Ruto stands for fair sharing of government resources.
We all Kenyans.
