At @blockfuselabs , we’ve spent the last few months studying the Lean Consensus specification @leanEthereum and training protocol developers to reason about simple, verifiable systems. The engineers at @blockfuselabs are building @geanclient, a Lean @ethereum consensus client inspired by the Lean Consensus (Beam Chain) proposal introduced by @drakefjustin during his @EFDevcon Bangkok 2024 talk.[youtube.com/watch?v=lRqnFr…] Our goal is to build a consensus client that is simple, readable, elegant, and resilient, code that anyone can read, understand, and maintain for decades to come. A codebase developers genuinely enjoy contributing to. That’s why we chose Go. We follow a lean development approach inspired by @ethlambda_lean , another lean Ethereum consensus client being built by @class_lambda . @geanclient is being developed in the open and is currently led by @devlongs_ .
