@Andrew12Welsh Because they won’t do the work or relocate Welshy, on solar farms, fruit picking and farm work there are huge skill shortages in rural areas. Backpackers have been the life blood for many in the country.

Why can’t workers that are not backpackers help fill the gap here and earn a wage? Some policy issue I’m sure but in this environment it surely needs to be looked at.
