May have just stumbled onto something extremely rare and significant. Typing Coronation Street 1960 into Shutterstock, they have telesnaps via ITV of what is called Episode 1 of Coronation Street which looks to be the first dry runs/pilot episode. This is incredible to see!

Here’s a colourised and restored photo of Tom Baker and Lis Sladen enjoying the sunshine at the National Radiological Protection Board, Didcot, Oxfordshire, on Monday 21st July 1975, during filming for #DoctorWho and the Android Invasion.

I think rtd did a TERRIBLE job in aliens of london regarding rose's disappearance. It could have been a great commentary on how Jackie weaponized racism to attack mickey AND a comment on how often missing girls truly are killed by their boyfriends yet it's all played for giggles

@Praxeus_stan @WildBlueJacob I’d say 30 or so pages in an 84-page mag is pretty reasonable for the first missing-episode discovery in 13 years, especially given the extraordinary work Film is Fabulous! are doing. But noted: we’ll give the next missing-episode discovery a smaller splash.

I do wonder how hard it is for the Doctor Who Magazine writers to come up with new content when nothings happening in the show

@benjamin_cook Not sure that’s the gotcha you think it is. Do you only follow and interact with people you agree wholeheartedly with on absolutely everything? 😂😂

Still pissed about the placement of the star being the 'e' instead of the 'a'. Had a full on argument on here last year with B*n C*ok where he kept saying I was wrong, only for the official YouTube channel to upload this thumbnail and prove my point.

@benjamin_cook Oh no I’ve got no problem with using a star. The inconsistency is that it replaces one e but not the other so it becomes a case of ‘which letter has been replaced?’ Whereas if it *was* the ‘a’ then at least it would be consistent because there’s only one ‘a’ to replace.

@ProductionsJAW “Not arguing about it anymore” works for me. But if you say my name three times (maybe even just once, publicly, on Doctor Who X, where the algorithm will show me every single one of your tweets), don’t be surprised if I appear. 😉 Try not to reignite this in another 12 months.

@benjamin_cook I’m not arguing any more about it. If you like it, then whatever. But I think it looks terrible - even without the star 😅

@ProductionsJAW “A confusing mess of a logo”? Haha, your mileage may vary. But “no consistency” – what’s inconsistent? Letter-swap logos work *because* of one deliberate break in the wordmark. The disruption is the fucking point. 😅

@ProductionsJAW “More centrally” is comparative, not absolute. You can’t swap the central letter in a 12-letter word anyway. But 7-4 is closer to centre than 10-1 – which is all “more centrally”/“centring” means.

@ProductionsJAW And “looks like neither then it doesn’t belong there” only works if the ⭐ is there for shape-matching. It isn’t. (Capital “A” is irrelevant. The brief was lowercase.)
