I’m referring to all the comments that tell her she should be doing something other than completely ignoring the investor or doubting that it even happened. A lot of those comments are absolutely to do with gender. As per my first tweet

@JerseyAngus @elliotjweir I completely agree with your sentiment. But I believe first it needs to be led by providing women with a voice at the table to have them heard as individuals in their own right. You touch on that there are no biases but people asked your partner first and you “politely” answered

@benjamin_vertus @elliotjweir How about we stand side by side, as human, and just all move forward together? I have been dairying for 15 years, and worked in a Fonterra factory for 4. I haven't experienced any bias. Occassionally a stock agent will ask my partner questions, I politely answer them.

@JerseyAngus @elliotjweir If it is about promoting women for this day then absolutely men should step aside and be an ally from a supporting role not front and centre.

@elliotjweir As a women in dairy, I don't give a shit. If the best people in the industry for certain topics currently are men, then I am happy to learn from them.

Yes they can be electrified but it makes more sense to put the current limited renewable electricity that we do have to places it will have the fastest impact. linkedin.com/posts/breakthr…. @DaVinciCapital @tomdquinn @mcannonbrookes Heavy industry is similar, we have RNG that can come from carbon negative sources. We need to be thinking at a deeper level, there isn’t a silver bullet that takes us through this Energy Transition Age we are in. Not electrification, hydrogen or RNG. But together, yes.

@DaVinciCapital @tomdquinn @mcannonbrookes We already have renewable CNG for heavy trucking and large goods vehicles. 90% less emissions than diesel, less maintenance costs and they are quieter. The most important thing, is it’s available now. Electrification makes sense for passenger vehicles but not heavy industry.

@DaVinciCapital @tomdquinn @mcannonbrookes They can be electrified but it doesn’t make sense to. They require long distance travel, they would need long recharging times and a lot of power.

We have been talking about these at Vertus Energy since our inception. We need to make it easier and affordable for industry to adopt all forms of renewable energy. We need the large polluters to both keep the economy moving and be carbon zero. #climateTech #ClimateActionNow
