this is how you turn off data sharing with grok build simply use the "/privacy opt-out" command to turn data retention off it will also delete any previously synced data should 100% be off by default imo, but if you still want to use grok build, this is the best approach

ok! quick updates from me: - i left anthropic (who does that?!) - had a baby (i love her) - and am joining @cursor_ai as head of design (eep!) it's been a low-key dream of mine to nurture a team that cares so deeply about craft, quality, and building great tools. very excited!

Have been working closely with @dinkin_flickaa to completely refactor how images and videos are handled on 𝕏. Media now opens and closes fluidly, regardless of whether it’s a video, image, profile picture, etc. Makes a big difference to overall feel.

Really enjoyed working on this with @dinkin_flickaa and @mnmityushkin.

We now support docking media on 𝕏, so you can watch videos while continuing to browse. (Perfect for amazing SpaceX documentaries!)

Grok 4.5 is now available. Has been great to play with the model internally over the past few weeks. It’s a real step change.

This continues to be a big team effort alongside @iMinichrispy, @antonlikespizza, @cambridgemike and @nicoduc. The experience will continue to improve in the coming weeks and months, with the plan to eventually bring this into the main 𝕏 app.

We’ve been working hard on a large refactor of our 𝕏 message composer, focused on speed, fluidity, and having more media options available at your fingertips. Currently being rolled out to select users in the standalone XChat app. Feedback so far has been great!
