The Death Tax is looking extremely worrying! 270k average house price..27k tax to pay if your spouse dies? Then if you havn’t 27 k savings you have to sell your home buy another & pay stamp duty for a smaller home if there are any cheaper properties available!

Ripping up council tax and stamp duty and replacing them with a tax that could collapse the market, cause landlords to make losses overnight and hurt those who invested everything in their dream family home, without a General Election, would be completely outrageous from Burnham.

Burnham has announced more transformative policies in a week than the Tories did in 14 years. You can agree with the policies or hate them (I'm a mixture of the two) but it's impressive nonetheless. Anyone who denies this is just a cope merchant.

This is the same woman who had to step down as Deputy PM because she couldn’t get her own property tax declarations straight. Yet she lectures others on financial openness? Pot, meet kettle. These politicians have zero self-awareness. They rig the rules for themselves, get caught, resign with crocodile tears, then immediately pivot to attacking rivals for doing the exact same thing! Astounded Reform have agreed to this. It’ll be like that debate where Cameron didn’t attend in 2015 and all the other party leaders rounded on Ed Miliband. All risk, no reward and best he can hope for is some help from the audience.
