@jemmm85517813 The idea UK will start taxing death is revolting. This is ≠ care, certainly ≠ social care - it is a hostile government, which hates working people who manage 2 create something in their lifetime, fund these incompetent politicians running down the country. I feel so so sad 😔

The Death Tax is looking extremely worrying! 270k average house price..27k tax to pay if your spouse dies? Then if you havn’t 27 k savings you have to sell your home buy another & pay stamp duty for a smaller home if there are any cheaper properties available!

@sufcberry @Chriss_m @EssexPR Yes the people in houses worth millions will pay more. Why is someone in a 100k house in Burnley paying more council tax than someone down south living in a 5million house

Ripping up council tax and stamp duty and replacing them with a tax that could collapse the market, cause landlords to make losses overnight and hurt those who invested everything in their dream family home, without a General Election, would be completely outrageous from Burnham.

@nat83823 @KonstantinKisin Your speech is both free and idiotic. Suggesting the Mayor of Liverpool could somehow get Liverpool on it's own to re join the EU is beyond idiotic. More power to Mayors and moving N10 has nothing to do with EU policy....

@benjog88 @KonstantinKisin It’s called free speech . Just because you don’t agree with me doesn’t make me an idiot. You are entitled to your beliefs, as am I. It’s called democracy. And no I want no part of the eu with their unelected woke leader with a God complex.

Burnham has announced more transformative policies in a week than the Tories did in 14 years. You can agree with the policies or hate them (I'm a mixture of the two) but it's impressive nonetheless. Anyone who denies this is just a cope merchant.

@nat83823 @KonstantinKisin you don't want Mayors to have more authority because you think a Mayor will be able to get their City to re-join the EU......

@benjog88 @KonstantinKisin Because they have more to make choices like rejoining the eu. I’m pro Brexit and really believe the whole country leaving the ECHR and the WEF are vital for us to resume sanity and normality back to our country again. Without this we are currently stuck in limbo

@Sheila45005286 @KonstantinKisin Removing the social care costs from councils would be one of the most transformative policies the country has seen for decades. Some councils spend 70+% of their budget on Adult Social Care. That money becomes available for improving the communities we live in.

@KonstantinKisin Transformative? How? Reversing the Labour decision to raise bus fares by returning it to what it was prior to them raising it? Moving to Manchester when that isn't the case as no one is moving away from Whitehall. Only their media stuff is up there so Andy can video sesh whenever

@nat83823 @KonstantinKisin why would you not want more power to the mayors? it means the people your area has voted for have more power to implement changes the directly affect them

@KonstantinKisin He’s certainly more human than Starmer. The theatre has been a bit cringe.. and no10 north and the more power to mayors i do not agree with in the slightest. But he has more progress in some things sounded positive and a good change!

@sufcberry @Chriss_m @EssexPR It doesn't take less money, it stops people in places like Burnley paying £700 a year more council tax than someone in a similar council tax band in London. It redistributes

“I have to speak up about Andy Burnham. I worked with him over 8 years. He played the part. He was accommodating and good fun. I discovered he was also a liar. He lied to my face. I decided he was a shit bag, a puppet.” - feedback from a friend in Manchester

So, one of the great mysteries has been “why didn’t Nigel Farage just come clean over the £5m and move on”. Watching Reform’s increasingly frantic efforts over the weekend to deflect from it, I think we have the answer. He can’t. He clearly feels the truth will be too damaging.

@Nigel_Farage As Farage is no longer an MP, it may well be an offence under the Fraud Act 2006 for him to represent himself as such. @X @Support is also mispresenting him as being a Government Official and need to immediately remove his grey tick.

Nothing screams “establishment” harder than every Westminster party having no issue whatsoever standing at the Makerfield by-election to legitimise the appointment of Andy Burnham and then clubbing together to try & delegitimise Nigel Farage at a by-election in Clacton.

Absolute hypocrisy on steroids. Angela Rayner, the former Housing Secretary who resigned in shame just months ago after an ethics probe found she underpaid £40,000 in stamp duty on her £800k seaside second home, breaching ministerial standards while claiming it was all “bad advice”, is now out here accusing Nigel Farage of having a “flexible relationship with transparency” over undeclared benefits from a convicted fraudster. This is the same woman who had to step down as Deputy PM because she couldn’t get her own property tax declarations straight. Yet she lectures others on financial openness? Pot, meet kettle. These politicians have zero self-awareness. They rig the rules for themselves, get caught, resign with crocodile tears, then immediately pivot to attacking rivals for doing the exact same thing! Shameless doesn’t even cover it.

OK. I utterly and unequivocally condemn the people attacking the police in Southampton in a violent rage. They were not protestors, they were violent thugs. Now @TiceRichard, let's see you have a go.

Astounded Reform have agreed to this. It’ll be like that debate where Cameron didn’t attend in 2015 and all the other party leaders rounded on Ed Miliband. All risk, no reward and best he can hope for is some help from the audience.
