The Detroit Tigers funk began on July 9, top of 6th vs the Rays. Jason Bennetti said “With a win today the Tigers would have the first 60 win mark before the AS break in franchise history. This is a historically great Tigers team.” This jinxed the team. @tigers #RepDetroit

The batter (Mangum) singled on the next pitch and the Tigers blew the lead that inning and lost the game. They got swept in the next series vs. the Mariners and have scuffled since. @tigers and Jason Bennetti, only you can break the jinx. Maybe apologize to the baseball gods?
