@real_brad_smith yea xs momo almost, trend ok, carry not great, none beat btc over last month

pretty sure most L/S crypto strats should be underperforming BTC and also long-only over the past month. if you called it right directionally, hats off to you. though long-only generally had a tougher time over the last year minus certain strategies. could prob add market timing overlay to a L/S strat to tilt net exposure and capture some of the directional upside. though this adds complexity and means you actually need market timing edge to call the direction on top of running a profitable L/S strat.
