For our new Crowdsourcing special issue of @Journal_PoPs, we solicited reviews from experts—and (just for fun) the latest AI. We also asked DALL-E to translate researchers' proposals into visual form. The results were...unexpected Here are a few highlights (🧵):

@benruisch Chapeau for this amazing work folks! A pity that our proposal didn’t make it to the top 20, but the feedback we received was helpful anyway and shows the enthusiasm of the guest editor board. Also, we now already have a nice visual abstract for a potential future publication! ;)
