Day 7: Had to quickly plan a trip to get as much of the West of England line ticked as possible, ahead of the reduced timetable that's operated there for many months this year. This trip had a lot of mega traction though.

25 from 25! Review of the year/advent calendar from a very busy year of travel. Starting with a journey on the most northerly line in the UK, the Far North Line. To get to Thurso, trains have to reverse here at Georgemas Junction from Inverness.

Quick trip to 🇧🇪 this week now that I have FIP travel discounts, firstly out to the lovely Bruges and then back to Bruxelles, to find a metro stop with a very good name😉 Also took in the European Parliament Hemicycle, feels wrong how we threw away our voice from there.
