Almost 30 @EYBuses electric buses are about to begin operating on routes across #Hull from potentially as soon as next week. It’s a partnership with the two councils and the DfT. @StagecoachEMid are soon to introduce theirs too

🚍 Exciting news on our EV Journey! ⚡ We’re thrilled to announce that 21 new electric Wrightbus vehicles will be joining our fleet later this year, marking a huge step forward in our journey towards cleaner, greener public transport across the region. ✅ Phase 1 of our EV Infrastructure Programme is now complete 🚧 Phase 2 is underway, we’re continuing to work closely with our contractor to keep timelines on schedule and progress on track. Huge thanks to our amazing teams, @EOCharging and @bethellgroup for keeping everything on track! The infrastructure programme has been made possible thanks to an allocation of capital funding from @Hullccnews to support the rollout of electric buses in the city as part of the authority’s commitment to tackling the climate emergency and creating a greener city. A huge thank you to the teams making this progress possible. Keeping disruption of our day to day operation to the minimum. The momentum is real — and December is just around the corner! ⚡

Today I completed what some say is the hardest day routine in the world. The David goggins Navy seal routine. - 4.30am half marathon (in -7 degrees) - 20KM bike ride shortly after on level 6 - Full body gym workout - No food until all training is completed - All of this on no sleep 😍 A challenge that I’m grateful to complete but blooming heck that took some effort. Despite the struggle and battle with tiredness and fatigue, I have learnt so much about my mind and body today. The mindset of just getting out there and doing it when no one else is out- even without motivation has really inspired me on my fitness journey. I’d much rather push myself to extreme limits and people ask why then do nothing at all and ask myself why. We keep on battling 🙏
