The California attorney general announced a lawsuit against ExxonMobil on Monday, alleging it engaged in a decadeslong deception about whether the plastics it manufactured can be recycled.

Thousands of Southern California residents still can’t get home because of massive wildfires that have burned more than 110,000 acres in the region. Dozens of those residents will never get back to their homes, after the fires around Los Angeles consumed some structures.
