Como 1-0 Torino. Late equaliser for Torino chalked off after VAR review. Como is a beautiful place & the atmosphere at the game was louder than I’d expected. The downside is they lock the stadium down on match days & I think I counted 4 passport checks before I got to my seat.

For the first hour there was nothing between the teams. The Bay, perhaps, looked at the table & thought they just had to turn up. Really sloppy at times, none more so than the defending for their early goal. Last 30 mins a bit more dominant. #NonLeague

@seanmills6 It is mate, well worth a visit. They switched my digital ticket to paper when I asked - bonus! The Dutch manage to watch a game without throwing their beer over everyone with faux uncontrollable joy. Forgot to ask them how they manage to do that.

Weekend started with Dordrect 1-1 Jong Ajax and finished with FC Utrecht 1-1 PEC Zwolle. First time watching football in Nederland and it was pretty hassle free all weekend. Will hopefully return soon to watch Rotterdam.

@WelshCanary94 Yes a little bit. I bought two memberships at €5 each to give me priority over general sale. Even then I couldn’t get two tickets together, they were 3 rows apart.

I’ve wanted to visit Ajax since seeing that shirt being worn by that team of the mid 90s. Unfortunately today’s team falls well short of what an Ajax team should be, even considering finances. A stadium that feels bigger than the capacity suggests. Ajax 1-1 NEC Nijmegen

Stayed in touch with people we met at FC Dordrecht a few years ago and had many beers with that night. Recently they asked if I’d feature in the club magazine so I did a piece with them. Funny timing that Ben is out there for the game it’s published at. Great club Dordrecht.
