@Mistr_MeowMeow If you’re the type to beat yourself up, try your best not to in a group setting because it’s hard to listen to someone be toxic to themselves and it hurts morale. Cause your friends think higher of you than you might think. It’s ok to be critical to yourself, but not toxic.

I want to run the new savage content. It's why I moved to aether in the first place, but honestly, I'm scared. I was able to get through EX1&2 because people I trust from my FC were with me and helped walk me through it But apparently everyone just PFs savage... I haven't done a current savage content since before world hopping even existed. I am...80% confident in my skills to get through the fights. I am 20% confident in finding a group of people to run it with who won't hate me for being me. 🫤

@bruhkitt @Kossuel I wish it was as easy as you put it, because if you could just watch the hands and move, people wouldn’t be wiping like that lol. It’s clearly the boss design and timing is harder to read than normal imo

@Kossuel Playing origenics dungeon was such a painful experience just doing it with players, especially on the first encounter where ALL YOU DO IS LOOK AT HAND GO OTHER WAY, I ended up just queueing with npcs 😭

My contribution to the "is Dawntrail hard" discussion is that if youre between levels 90 and 100 and still aren't capable of grasping simple mechanics or reacting to things that will kill you, it's not the games fault

@cleeeees Yah first photography is fun. It’s a puzzle you solve until you have a good picture. The tedious part is the puzzle, the ss is the reward. It’s fun to get lost in the process and you’re rewarded with the finished piece. And its fun making my char look cool lol

I have a real question for Final Fantasy XIV twitter. Does anyone actually find gpose, ss, glamour fun? It feels like the most boring, tedious, and overlong stuff imaginable, and with FFXIVs lack of character creation diversity and limited dye channels, what's the point?

@OsirusRagnarok @atelierbri I get your point, it’s fun for you— but listen to your comrades. They’re telling you that it’s not fun for them to sit on the floor while you solo. So you’re right we can’t control you, but it’s up to you to consider everyone

Sad day to hear Square-Enix will continue business with Sweet Baby. Maybe it is that time to unsub to FF11 & FF14 & just let it go. I learned something valuable in DawnTrail, & finding it was the easy part, but letting it go was the hardest part. Now, to take on a new name.

@_bareri Totally I’ve done it too from habit and we’re all getting used to it. But my comment was for Ange who asked what is it even there for. I believe it was meant for movement but we all used it for damage until now to the point that we forgot it was a movement tool

@bentmax_ffxiv I am very aware of what a gap closer is lol. My complaining is more based around the fact that plunge was in the DRK opener for multiple years, so shaking off that very much ingrained muscle memory of using it for DPS has been frustrating for me. 🙂

@Justalizzer Your rates are based on the distance and location. Ever notice a teleport in the same zone is only 100g? But traveling to the first from Ul’dah will cost 3k. But also Tural zones are pretty expensive in general, must be Turali exchange rate …

is it just me or is every teleport in DT zones expensive as hell? i use aetheryte tickets, but ive legit burned through 300 since last thursday

@fadamniel Exactly, you’re the strong quiet hero that joins the party. You help her goals and her goals are your goals as a party. She’s the princess working to take the throne and Your WoL is an adventurer anyways so she gives you the adventure. It’s a no brainer lol

"the wol isn't central to the story and doesn't seem important" expand your perspective. your wol is now the cool badass mentor character every kid wants to be. they're the mysterious super powerful person with 2091823 secrets, etc. exciting new story opportunities EVERYWHERE

Movement in the market is the most important. You want to find items that are in high demand and spawn them and sell them while they’re in demand. Example: new patch drops. All crafters need to level 90+, There’s a lot of movement for new crafting mats raw and intermediate

@FFXI_FFXIV @nessy_xs @CloudieXiV Don't get me wrong, the sub is lit bonkers but the longest way to make gil. You need other ways to get gil to afford a submarine, and likely your game sub will run before you finish it. Having good habits on the market board will serve you alot better
