the 'val machine' is just having a key attached to the underside of your desk and basically jerking off, val0108 has used one of these before but i think multiple people have come up with this idea over the years. 3d printer makes this very doable

@WootingKB @plambob this is different from something like a strum bar or the val machine, since with those setups, releasing to neutral (nothing being held/pressed) does not cause any inputs
if dks were allowed for osu, the whole game would be shattered and the meta would become hardware-dependent
