@JustinJBasch I’m missing your point. Correct me if I’m wrong. Mesenbrick signed a scholarship for Cal Baptist, was on the Cal Baptist wrestling team, left Cal Baptist and now wrestles for Penn State. That’s a transfer. I ain’t mad, I have no dog in the fight, that’s what it is.

IMO, saying Penn State got 58.5 points from the transfers is a bit misleading when two of the four guys are Kerk and Mesenbrink. Kerk never stepped foot on an Ohio State mat, and Mesenbrink wrestled ONE redshirt match at Cal Baptist. While technically, "from the transfer portal," take away Kerk & Mitchel's points (43), and Penn State has 15.5, which is less than the top 5. Feels like this data set would paint the picture more accurately with the logic of "These wrestlers wrestled at least one official match for another school prior to transferring."
