Tools like Cursor hint at where AI-driven user interfaces are going. Chat is only 10%. Most of the output (and UI) is a domain-specific representation of the state of the work. In the case of AI coding, 90% of what you're looking at and thinking about is the IDE, the diffs, the PRs, the tasks, etc. The representation of the actual work. How does this generalize? Think of a calendar for example. Meaningful decisions will involve looking at a visual representation and seeing options. The back and forth chat over what to change or what to see is the 10%. The actual work state (in terms of UI) is the 90%. Quick breadboard below to describe this.

@OfficialBBrooks @msuster Would ask a similar question about building housing, which should be a huge market opportunity. SF is one of the best places to live from a climate and economic opportunity perspective (and I’m a proud Angeleno), but the rent is in fact too damn high.

@msuster I’m asking out of genuine curiosity, what stops SF or other places from opening up real mental health facilities? That solves ~75%+ of these issues. And I’m sure tax payers would be okay with their $$ going there Vs the plethora of nonsense programs.

I hate to shit on San Francisco But clearly they already let their own residents do this directly in the street. Outside of my hotel and all over this entire neighborhood are scores of people sleeping in the street, clearly drug users and mentally ill SF leaders. Someday you will have to clean up your own shit. This isn’t how functional societies operate I have come here my entire life. I came here often as a child and I love the city. I still do. But surely this can’t be the right way to operate a city I know this exists in parts of any urban environment but there is nowhere quite like this where it is so intwined with the important parts of the business community. And at such enormous scale. Such an eyesore. And stain on this beautiful & creative city. Such a safety concern.

It's a long detailed report, but your main takeaway should be that when you ask yourself "why do fewer people watch x women's sport than the equivalent mens version" the answer is always going to be systematic underinvestment by the governing body.

Soak that in. The NCAA is leaving at least 66% of the value of the media rights for the women's tournament on the table!! And sure this is an old deal so it's not surprising that its somewhat out of whack, but that's a very big number.
