@kenradio Please don't ask any school aged children, only 0.05 would even have a clue BUT ask them about CTR and most would know exactly what your talking about. Well, maybe they don't know? I'm sure no one told the students what CTR is. They just go to class n have it fed to them all day.

I often encounter people who don't understand the past-perfect tense. They can't see why it would ever be appropriate to say "John had learned something surprising." They want to reject the "had" in all instances. What explains this? Some households just don't use this tense?

I’m often asked what I mean when I say I “lost everything” by opposing Trump. By “everything” I mean I lost my livelihood, all my supporters, most of my friends, & any future in electoral politics or conservative media. I lost all that. No regrets. I’d do it again. Country 1st.
