The Philippines has made 3 demands of Roblox ahead of the April 10th deadline, otherwise, they may face a national ban.
1. Roblox must establish a physical office in the Philippines
2. Roblox must overhaul its age verification protocols, rather than using facial recognition or self-declared birthdays, instead they are recommending the Philippine Identification System, which is a National ID System.
3. Roblox must provide authorities with "necessary information to track down digital predators and cybercriminals"
Secretary of the DICT, Henry Aguda, stated that the process will uphold legal safety net and due process, requiring court orders and subpoenas.
