@SAINTBERGMAN My copy of Autumn Sonata arrived the other day. I don’t think I’m ready. Well, I say I’m leaving it as the last film of Ingrid’s to watch but that’s because I’m a wuss.

@SAINTBERGMAN This is another thing for the time machine. I’d have loved to have seen her in Captain Brassbound’s Conversion and not just because it also starred Kenneth Williams 🙈 thank goodness for the few TV adaptations of stage plays!

@SAINTBERGMAN The Hideaways/Mixed-Up Files film is very good. I think it’s because it reminded me of the Famous Five books I used to read as a bub. Sadly, Ingrid isn’t in it until the last part though. The 70s were a mixed bag that’s for sure!

@bergmoons_ i’ve read about that and it’s crazy that something like that could flop, then again, the cast can only do so much. it’s definitely a completionist film 😞 but oh wow her last few feature length films

#nrw The Count of the Old Town (1935) I’ve missed you, Ingrid! It has been nearly two weeks without an Ingrid film. Never again 😩 (This is her first film appearance. She looks so cute!)

@SAINTBERGMAN Oh it really is. You’d think having Liza Minnelli, her father & Ingrid Bergman (with a brief cameo by Charles Boyer) would be good but it is just very odd. At least we get to see Isabella in her first film appearance (and little Ingrid doing make-up) playing a nun called Pia!

@SAINTBERGMAN I wonder if you have seen ‘A Matter of Time’? Ingrid’s film with Liza Minnelli. The more I think of it, it’s the same as Saratoga, only in colour.

@SAINTBERGMAN Ocean Breakers is driving me mad. Just one film left and Ingrid's complete filmography would be available. And yet it is locked up in Sweden. I couldn't even find a clip. Just a few photos - insert Indiscreet's damn! (And I am sending you the link now)
