@jwhittenbergK5 @seattletimes I live south of Seattle. The city is absolute shit. I have to unfortunately go up there for Seahawks and Mariners games. Lots of homeless, needles, people passed out in alley ways and all Seattle PD does is prop them up enough to drive by. It’s bad.

I left a large HMO and now have a small private clinic. I don't take insurance because I spend two hours with patients and it's been the most wonderful, rejuvenating experience. I wish there was a path forward that allowed human centered care to be accessible instead of AI based care

@oldandrewuk Have activities pitched at 3+ levels of challenge. More able go straight to the high challenge work; middle ability stay with the teacher in class for the lesson input; lower ability go straight out as a small group with a teaching assistant. Yes it is possible.

It's not possible to differentiate a lesson so that is equally useful for those who already know the lesson content, and those who do not have the prerequisite knowledge to understand the lesson content.

@Boston_Terf @zakpharro @TheRyanHamilton You are wrong, and it makes me sad that you don’t know that. Laws have to be interpreted as written, not as you want them to be. The legal term for any procedure that removes a fetus from a mother’s body is abortion. Whether it should be isn’t the point.

@EliMcCann LPT: This actually comes from eldercare but still applies for babies — dabbing a bit of Mentholatum under your nose and wearing a leftover N95 mask can greatly decrease the overwhelming smell. It’s also ok to change the baby on disposable puppy pads that go straight in the trash

I almost threw up changing a blowout diaper that somehow reached the baby's NECK this morning but don't worry my husband was super helpful*. *he stood just outside the room giving advice like "you need to get him cleaned up."

It’s really hard to watch patients decline life-saving treatment because of medical misinformation and conspiracy theories. This is not a theoretical concern. It’s happening right now. The anti-science grifters and liars have blood on their hands.

@JoshHarder That money goes to pay for roads. How do you propose the roads are funded?

It is absurd we pay an extra $1 per gallon in taxes to fill up our gas tanks. I just introduced a bill to suspend the gas tax because our families need that money!

@realgirl_fieri My pet theory is that breastfeeding is so hard for everyone and (many) moms have to shout it loudly from the rooftops that breast is best and they managed to do it with much struggle bc if they admit that formula is an equal choice it means their struggle was for naught.

divorce is a thousand tiny deaths. today i picked my daughter up from school and muscle memory had me driving to a home that is no longer "home." i took a u-turn. felt bizarre.

Additional update: I put the pants on her teddy bear and she got jealous
