We're thrilled to introduce Dr. Mateusz Piotr Sowiński, who has just joined our group. Mateusz is an organic chemist with a "cool" background - he recently arrived from the Arctic (UiT Norway), where he specialized in the design of nitroxide radicals and protein spin labels.

Dr. Monika Szefczyk took part in the meeting of the project SNOOPY COST Action. During the meeting at the University of Nottingham, Dr. Szefczyk presented both a poster and an oral presentation showcasing her work on peptide foldamers based on the coiled-coil motif.

A grant proposal prepared by Prof. Łukasz Berlicki has just been accepted for funding by the @NCN_PL in the OPUS call. We aim to develop a new class of miniproteins that will catalyze amide bond formation. Such enzyme-like catalysts will be helpful for modifying peptides.
