Corporate greed is UnitedHealth making a $5.48 billion profit last quarter (up 60% from last year), spending $33 billion in stock buybacks since 2022, paying its CEO over $60 million last year while it works to hike premiums by up to 25% next year. Yes. We need Medicare for All.

The Oligarchs are getting nervous. AIPAC and other billionaire-funded super PACs have already spent almost $50 million in Michigan to try and defeat Dr. Abdul El-Sayed. They have the money. We have the people. Fight back. Let’s support Abdul.

At a time when millions of Americans are finding it harder to pay for groceries, housing and healthcare, when the climate crisis is causing record heatwaves and forest fires, Donald Trump felt it appropriate tonight to spew conspiracy theories about the 2020 election. Pathetically, in true authoritarian fashion, he even threatened to revoke the licenses of ABC and NBC because they would not cover his speech. Insane. Too many Americans have fought and died to defend American democracy. All of us, regardless of our political views, must stand together against this dangerous president who is seeking to undermine our Constitution and our basic freedoms.

TRUMP’S LIES, CLIMATE CHANGE AND THE FUTURE OF THE PLANET The last eleven years have been the hottest eleven years on record. The last three years have been the hottest three years on record. Europe just saw its worst heat wave in recorded history that set all-time heat records in seven countries, killed more than 10,000 people, and caused the worst heat stress ever in half of the continent’s largest cities. Much of the American west just saw its warmest winter on record, and as a country, the United States just saw its worst spring drought in recorded history. This summer alone we have seen multiple record heatwaves that have exposed hundreds of millions of Americans to dangerous levels of heat. In both the United States and Canada, this heat and drought is driving longer and more intense wildfire seasons, including the more than 800 wildfires across Canada and northern Minnesota that are currently causing dangerous levels of air pollution for at least 115 million people across 20 states. Let’s be clear: It is not normal for Detroit, Minneapolis, and Chicago to have some of the most dangerous air quality in the world. NO, Mr. President: climate change is not a hoax. It is reality. And your ignorance is putting our kids and grandkids at risk in exchange for the short-term profit of your billionaire friends in Big Oil. Our job: Reject President Trump’s lies and take on the crisis of climate change and the greed of the fossil fuel industry by transitioning our energy system to energy efficiency and sustainable forms of power. When we do that, we cut carbon emissions, reduce energy bills, and create millions of good union jobs. And, by the way, we save the planet for our kids and grandchildren.

Yes, President Trump is right. The $1 trillion in tax breaks his "Big Beautiful Bill" gave to the top 1% helped his wealthy friend buy a private jet that "he didn't need." Meanwhile, that same bill is throwing millions of Americans off of the healthcare they desperately need.

We cannot allow billionaire super PACs to destroy American democracy.

Trump promised to cap credit card interest rates at 10%. He lied. Last quarter, while working people struggle to pay their bills, big banks made a $49 billion profit charging 25-30% credit card interest rates. We must take on the outrageous greed and usury of Wall Street.

AIPAC is now spending 8x as much as Abdul El-Sayed's entire campaign on the MI Senate primary. This race is not between Abdul and Haley Stevens. It is Abdul vs. AIPAC. A billionaire-funded Super PAC shouldn't determine American elections or foreign policy. Let's support Abdul.
