@berries208 If you read some of my replies to the other comments I say more about this but tldr its a consequence of writers boxing characters into certain tropes. It does not diminish kaveh's importance and relevance in sumeru or the plot which is what the whole rant is referring to

Imma be so honest as dramatic as it sounds, the Kaveh hate train is getting to me emotionally and mentally. I’ve had Kaveh haters calling me a whore for defending him. I relate to him a lot and it honestly hurts seeing him getting hated on. All of this over him having 191 lines.

@LazorBeanz His idealism. Idk why no one is mentioning it, and I get that a lot of people think of this part as one of his biggest weaknesses, but think about how easily to breaks the Diadem of Evil and donating ALL the money from the Interdarshan Championship even though he REALLY needed it

during my first play-through of p5r, i funnily enough did not tear up during 2/2, but did tear up at this. and it honestly still guts me now. there’s something about the fact that even after everything, knowing akechi would die, that he had one little weak hope still in him
