sunghoon’s former figure skating coach instagram update with sunghoon 🥹🤍 #SUNGHOON #성훈 “i attended an enhypen concert invited by sunghoon. sunghoon, whom i coached for five years during his figure skating days, was a very shy and introverted athlete back then. however, when it came to sports, he was a quiet but extremely hardworking and determined “tough grinder.” when i asked him during his time as both a figure skater and an idol trainee if it wasn’t difficult, he would always say that he didn’t feel it was hard because he was enjoying it so much. that teenage boy has now grown into a cool idol and singer who travels the world performing concerts. his once-introverted personality is nowhere to be seen, and instead he captivates audiences and communicates with fans so well that it made me think about how much effort he must have put in over the years. it must not have been easy for someone with sunghoon’s personality, and rather than feeling proud or just impressed, i found him truly amazing, admirable, and deeply respectable. stop equating grief with hate. missing hs's voice and hearing his lines sung by others is undeniably heavy, but that heartache should NEVER be mistaken for a lack of respect for the rest of the members. it is entirely possible to love the members on stage while still feeling the weight of the one who isn't there. ​missing him doesn't mean the others are 'less than.' BUT, there is a clear line. if his memory is being used as a weapon to tear down the members still standing on that stage, fueling bitterness toward the ones holding everything together—then they've forgotten what it means to be an engene. that is destroying the very group hs loved. and please don't label every fan who reminisces about hs as an 'anti.' not everyone who misses him is against the group, most of us are just trying to navigate the weight of his absence without losing our love for the others.

bts are genuinely such a wonderful group of talented best friends full of whimsy and life i get why people envy them. i pray to god they never lose their spark and that they remain happy and healthy doing what they love side by side
