We only have a small batch of White bodies remaining, which we’ve set aside for Qingyi. Beyond that, we genuinely don’t know if we’ll be able to secure more White sofubi - or any sofubi at all. What we’re offering right now comes from our remaining stockpile. I completely understand how this can feel frustrating, and I’m sorry for that. From the outside it may look like we’re holding things back, but the reality is that we’re navigating an uncertain supply situation and simply don’t know what comes next. To be transparent, we’re also trying to understand how long we can continue operating if sofubi supply remains unstable. Hey there, I’m really sorry you missed out - I completely understand how frustrating that feels. We do try to give advance notice when we can (like with Chaos bundle drops), but with day-to-day production, things can change unexpectedly. For example, Anomaly came in earlier than expected, but just as we were about to prep her, we discovered a missing paint layer that needed to be fixed. In cases like this, if we announce too early and then have to delay or change timing last minute, it can end up causing even more frustration - especially for folks waiting at the announced time who may not see the update. That said, the only hint we can realistically give right now is to keep an eye on our timeline on the site - it gives a bit of insight into what the team is working on, and more often than not it means a drop is not too far off. Hey Folks! We’ve decided on the official name for the white skin tone in Smart Doll Land - Porcelain White. The name is inspired by traditional Chinese porcelain. China was the first to develop true porcelain, with early forms emerging during the Eastern Han dynasty, later refined through the Tang, Song, Yuan, and Ming periods. It’s made from kaolin clay and fired at very high temperatures, which gives it that distinctive look - pure white, slightly translucent, and incredibly smooth. That material quality is what we wanted to capture with this tone - not just “white,” but something that reflects the smooth, slightly translucent qualities of porcelain. For the styling, we paired it with a cool-toned blue palette inspired by cobalt pigment - the same mineral used in classic blue-and-white porcelain. In Chinese, this style is known as 青花 (Qinghua), which refers to the blue decorative patterns created using cobalt under a clear glaze. Rather than applying literal patterns, we focused on expressing the feeling of Qinghua - soft diffusion, subtle variation, and depth in the tones. This Qinghua version of Legion will be available soon for pre-order. Hey folks! I wanted to get your feedback on a new hat we’re working on. It’s a reversible design - on one side it looks like a beret, and when you turn it around it becomes a retro military-style cap. I’ve been field testing it for a while and personalized mine with a red star. However, I’ve seen quite a few comments from folks who aren’t keen on the star, so we’re planning to release the hat without it so you can customize it however you like. That said, I’m curious - are there any of you who would actually prefer a version with the red star? If so, which side would you want it on - the beret side, the military cap side, or both? We also experimented with blue and white stars on both the green and charcoal versions, but they didn’t seem to work visually. Let me know if you’d prefer the hat with or without the star, and if you have a good name for this reversible hat. #smartdoll

So January and February turned out to be busier than anticipated, which meant we didn’t get around to doing as many Chaos drops as planned. Within the next few weeks, we expect the bi-annual Utter Chaos Bundle drop, along with more apparel and accessories - sooner rather than later for the Utter Chaos Bundles. #smartdoll
