What a dismal day this is. A party led by a supposed human rights KC with a justice secretary of the same alleged ilk suspends an MP for defending the right to trial by jury. Shame on you, David Lammy and Keir Starmer. Is this why you got into politics? x.com/guidofawkes/st…

The national inquiry into “grooming gangs” is an opportunity to deliver long-overdue justice and reform. But the Terms of Reference published today risk becoming yet another exercise that documents failure without addressing it.
Even the language tells a story.
Survivors DEMANDED the truth be named: RAPE GANGS!
Yet the continued use of ‘soft’ terminology dilutes the reality of what these children endured.
This was not “exploitation” in abstract terms. It was rape, violence, degradation and torture — compounded by gross failures of institutions charged with protecting them, who CHOSE to look away.
Two weeks ago, I shared a letter with the Inquiry team with recommendations from me, @TMOFCharity The Maggie Oliver Foundation and all the many survivors we support. Some of those points are reflected, and that progress matters.
But the most critical issue remains unresolved in these ToR: ACCOUNTABILITY.
The wording on criminal accountability for those who turned a blind eye — or worse, enabled these crimes — is still far too weak.
This is not poor practice, it is gross negligence & misconduct in public office by police, CPS, social services and others who repeatedly failed to act.
An MoU with the NCA’s Operation Beaconport is not enough. Its remit begins in 2010, while the Inquiry stretches back to 1996 — leaving a huge gap. And its focus is on perpetrators, not on holding institutions and individuals to account for their inaction and decisions, which survivors demand.
Independent scrutiny and real consequences where failures amount to wrongdoing are essential. Anything less risks being little more than a slap on the wrist by institutions protecting their own.
The process has also raised concerns at the first hurdle. The press statement speaks about putting survivors at the centre. Yet last night, after all our team had finished work, we were asked to share a letter with survivors who had already shared deeply traumatic experiences, informing them a public statement would be released the following morning. By the time they received it, the ToR had been published.
That timeline was not decided overnight. Survivors should have been given respect and proper communication. That is not what a survivor-led process looks like.
The Home Secretary described this abuse today as “historic”. IT IS NOT!
I see every day that both the abuse and systemic failures surrounding it are still happening. They are not rare exceptions! It’s a daily issue amongst those we fight for!
Framing this as “past mistakes” risks those failures yet again continuing unchecked.
The reality is this: the harm suffered was not only at the hands of abusers. It was deepened — and often prolonged — by institutional failure to act, listen, investigate and protect.
The ToR are a starting point.
We will continue to engage constructively with the panel and ensure survivors’ voices are not only heard, but acted upon, and real accountability follows!
Recognising the problem is not enough.
Survivors demand …,,,
ACCOUNTABILITY.
ACTION.
And our children deserve CHANGE.

CHAGOS: THE KILLER BLOW 🇮🇴 💥🤯
Me for @Telegraph
If you thought the farce of Labour’s Chagos deal couldn’t be any more shambolic, then you underestimated Sir Keir Starmer.
Not only have all the opposition parties, the president of the United States, the Chagossians themselves and even the United Nations lined up against this deal – now the courts have ruled against it.
The Prime Minister, the haughty King’s Counsel and former director of public prosecutions, has been humbled on his own wicket. “Mr Rules”, who set international law on a pedestal above the British national interest, has been laughed out of court.
The Government even had the gall to threaten the brave Chagos landing party with jail time, while serious and violent criminals run riot in Britain.
Drop this dreadful deal and get on with fixing the issues all of us in Britain are facing! Like our border crisis, the stalled economy, an ever-ballooning welfare bill, a youth unemployment crisis, unacceptably high waiting lists, a lack of housing, the list goes on.
You have to feel sorry for the Mauritian government, which trusted Starmer’s word, that he could get this deal over the line. They must feel pretty silly for thinking Starmer might deliver. Then again, JOIN THE CLUB.

The French have been paid £1 billion in the last 5 years NOT to stop illegal migration.
Now @Keir_Starmer is offering them even more money.
Paying the French is stupid. They’ll never help us.
ENFORCE our border IN the Channel.
We once ruled the waves. Now we cannot stop a dinghy.

Mr Starmer,
On this day, 31 March 2026, history will record your actions with clinical precision.
There you stood in Downing Street, warmly shaking the hand of Ahmed al-Sharaa, the former commander of al-Qaeda’s Syrian franchise, architect of jihad, suicide bombings and the slaughter of innocents. The cameras captured every second of Britain’s latest act of surrender while you grinned like a gracious host receiving an honoured guest.
Only weeks earlier, you declared Muslims the new face of England and allowed a known Palestinian terrorist to lean in and whisper instructions in your ear while you nodded obediently like the spineless puppet you are.
You have destroyed relations with our greatest ally, Donald J. Trump. You have betrayed every oath you ever swore. You have handed this nation over to its enemies piece by piece while rewarding traitors like Sadiq Khan with peerages.
You are not a Prime Minister.
You are a traitor who has deliberately dismantled Britain from within.
Your name will be remembered with nothing but contempt.
Britain First. No Surrender. 🦁🇬🇧

@SamanthaTaghoy @TRobinsonNewEra @ShabanaMahmood let's see if the rape inquiry actually roots out the authorities, police etc...as well as the gangs.

It’s not “history”, Shabana.
I’m from Telford. I was groomed and abused by different men from the age of 5.
I’ve seen countless little girls victimised by Pakistani-Muslim grooming gangs in my hometown.
IT’S STILL GOING ON.
I went on national TV to say that little girls are still being raped and tortured by Pakistani-Muslim gangs.
The next day, the police came banging on my door to threaten me into silence for speaking out.
Growing up, we knew which takeaways were dodgy, which taxi companies were controlled by the Pakistani-Muslim gangs, which estates and high streets not to walk through alone or avoid altogether.
It’s an open secret.
And your government is complicit.
It is still happening in towns and cities across the UK. Little girls are being subjected to the worst abuse imaginable, at the hands of men who know they can get away with it.
Nothing has changed.
You are still turning a blind eye despite decades of undeniable evidence.
Politicians like you are trying to sweep the scandal under the carpet, sabotaging the National Inquiry at every turn so that they can save their own skins.
And little girls are still being sacrificed at the altar of multiculturalism and traded for votes.
Decades later.
The same old story.
You may not have shoved little girls into taxis or plied them with vapes himself, but you and your entire government are just as guilty as if you had.
And I, for one, refuse to be silenced or placated by the very people who have spent decades discrediting victims and survivors like me.
Shabana Mahmood MP@ShabanaMahmood
The grooming gangs’ scandal is one of the darkest moments in our country’s history. The independent national Inquiry will now begin its crucial work to uncover how these crimes were allowed to happen and root out failure wherever it occurred. There will be no hiding place for the predatory monsters who committed these vile crimes.

The lawyers said "IF THE FOOTAGE OF THE ATTACK IS RELEASED THERE WOULD BE RIOTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY"
This is horrifying. Listen to her words.
The details of the r*pe of a 15 year old girl in Leamington have been released
The girl recorded the whole thing on her phone
Afghans did this
It's awful beyond belief

The Left doesn’t want Christianity in schools. Well, I don’t want Islam in the West.
The Left cheers cleansing Christianity from schools and public life, and calls it progress. Turn this attitude towards Islam and you’re ‘Islamophobic.’
We flourished because we were Christian, shaping law, science, rights, and prosperity. Now our countries are being ruined by Islam: grooming gangs, no-go zones, terror, and parallel societies. The West is turning into clan-societies.
What does it take for leftwing group-thinkers to see and understand this?
