5th grade’s 2nd annual Garden to Table PBL dinner was a roaring success tonight! Our students worked so hard to prepare and serve dinner to their families with ingredients from our own garden. Everyone went home with full bellies & full hearts! ❤️

5th graders had a blast at the Brevard Zoo today! The weather held out perfectly, too! ☀️

I was in awe of all the connections Team Tamwick made while at the Brevard zoo! We took notice to the animals that were put together in habitats after completing the same task in science. We also observed bird beaks, classified animals and learned about new adaptations. #vbevibe

My W.I.N group is working through an Amplify Novel study, "The Science of Breakable Things". In the book, we read about a egg drop competition. So within my science brain; "We will have one!!!" Thanks @michtamblyn for the extra large goose eggs.

I would like to nominate Mrs. Kalin as #vbevip. When the going gets tough, Mrs Kalin got tougher. She stepped up her moonshot game this week and came up with a plan in a pinch! #vbevibe

First big harvest in the PBL garden. Mustard greens with leaves the size of 5th graders, kale, and a few strawberries for our @MathenyLyndsey!!! Shout out to @EdFoundationIRC for the high impact grant supplies we used today, colanders and reusable veggie bags. More too come!!

Our field trip to @NASAKennedy was a blast!!!🚀🚀🚀 Couldn't have asked for better weather, better experiences or better company. @verobeachelem 5th graders were demonstrating the VIBE all around the space center!

Beyond excited that we are getting our kitchen ready for our "From garden to table" PBL @PBLWorks . We enjoyed unboxing and organizing some of the new items thanks to @EdFoundationIRC high impact grant!!! Can't wait to share this space with our @verobeachelem tribe. #vbevibe

Finally got in the garden. Between hurricanes and testing, it's been a rough few months. Caged the tomatoes and lots of weeding needed to be done. We got to try broccoli and the adults tried some strawberries. Can't wait for our produce to be harvested! #vbevibe
