So far, in the past few days, 9 people I’m related to plus a dozen people I know well have been slaughtered by the Jews invading and destroying Lebanon. But yeah. Sacrosanct. Peaceful. Democracy. You blue MAGA will all envy the fate of the Iranians and the Lebanese.

We are the wealthiest nation IN THE WORLD. If we cannot care for our own citizens, then the government needs to be literally dismantled and rebuilt from the ground up. We are human beings. We have supported this economy through our labor, commitment and tax dollars. And our collective financial contribution to this nation has been used for everything BUT improving our lives. Men and women have died in WAR to defend this country. I’ll be DAMNED if even one citizen dies because they can’t afford insulin. Fuck the oligarchy and fuck Donald Trump. WE are the people. Not those PABs sitting on their golden thrones. WE. ARE. THE. PEOPLE.

What are our taxes for then? No social services, just war?

When this war started Trump claimed they were going to “liberate” the Iranian people. Now Trump is saying that the US is going to bomb Iran back to the Stone Ages. Let this be a lesson that US bombs bring death and destruction, not liberation.

The overwhelming message I get from organized Democrats is that they love the CIA, Homeland Security, Zionism, the military, the military industries and the Empire, and their opposition to Trump lies solely in the fact that he is a radical threat to that status quo.

Was discussing tonight with a friend of mine who is in the business of chicken food (as in the food you feed chicken). One of the largest such businesses out there. Turns out, chickens quite literally eat oil: chicken feed requires methionine, a key amino acid produced with sulfur - itself extracted as a byproduct of oil refinement. And so, as a direct consequence of the oil shock, there's now apparently major issues in the poultry industry. Really insane to think about how deep the consequences of Trump's war on Iran go (and how dependent on oil we are): even chickens will go hungry globally because of this, and humans will inevitably follow...

The Democratic party operates under the premise that “the public has to vote for them because Republicans are bad”, but it’s a false choice. There is a better option. We can & must fight for a new system where the billionaire-owned economy is replaced with a people-owned economy.
