#Superman feels generational—like Raimi’s Spider-Man or Burton’s Batman. It’s a bold, heartfelt beginning to a new DC era, with Superman finally shining as the best of them all. David is magnetic as both Clark and Superman—charming, hopeful, and heroic. Rachel Brosnahan’s Lois Lane is sharp, funny, and my favorite take yet. Nicholas Hoult’s Lex has shades of Kevin Spacey, but way darker—he’s menacing as hell. The cast all brought it. The action & VFX? Solid. Could’ve used more, but what’s here works. It’s better than most Marvel flicks lately and lightyears ahead of anything Sony or the old DCEU put out. This is a home run for @JamesGunn. Thank you. ⚾🎬🍿 (No full rating yet—just my honest reaction.)
