Remember This: Your coach really doesn't determine your playing time. Your own choices do. Your effort. Your attitude. Your work ethic & more.

To the 12U coach who threw a kid 55 pitches Saturday, then 81 more the next day: You should never coach youth baseball again. That’s not development. That’s abusing a 12-year-old arm. Sorry, but you’re part of why arm injuries keep rising.

Coaches are watching summer ball harder than you think. They’re not looking at stats, they’re watching body language, effort on routine plays, and how you handle failure. If you’re tired, DON’T look tired! Be impossible to ignore. Be Scoutworthy.💯⚾️🧢

‘30 C/SS Chris Worrell Jr. (@hittersbaseba11; @PrepBaseballWI) One of the more polished swings we’ve seen covering the Super Select in 4+ years.. Graceful ease to everything he does. Heaviness to the barrel already while making quality swing decisions each trip. @ShooterHunt

See it every day/week/month/year and it never ceases to amaze me. A few questions for those that make it a regular thing: - Does winning trump player health? - Can you win a state title in baseball with one pitcher? - Is that state title game in March on your 4th game of the year? - If a 23 year old in pro ball isn't getting run out for 80, 90, 100 pitches, should a 15 year old be? A player is almost never going to tell you "coach take me out" or "no I don't want the ball in the big game", but someone has to be the adult in the room.

76-100 pitches = 3 calendar days off 51-75 pitches = 2 calendar days off 26-50 pitches = 1 calendar day off 200 pitches allowed in 7 days Who else thinks these HS rules make ZERO sense 🤦‍♂️🙋‍♂️⬆️

Went to a HS game yesterday. Had a D1 coach come meet me there to watch a kid. During the game, the team’s catcher would sprint to his position every inning. He’s an underclassman, the D1 coach wasn’t there for him, he is now on that coaches radar. Some things preached at every level - ▪️sprint to your spot between innings ▪️show off your arm in between innings ▪️serious throws in the INF/OF and as a catcher You can be 0-3 and still make an impression
