@HealingSoundsTx @RogueMTBC @TheCBMT I recertified last month and when my big envelope came in the mail it was a piece of paper telling me how to download and print my new certificate. 😤

According to someone on Music Therapists Unite, CBMT is no longer sending printed MT-BC certificates when you renew, but makes you to print your own if you want a hard copy. It's a great next step if we're trying to make our profession (in the U.S.) seem like a scam.

I’m not looking for a job but I see so many music therapy job postings & when i hit up their website it’s just all….yt ppl. And I’m just like 🫤🫤 I look at employee bios for their pics before anything else, every time. It’s kinda exhausting not being white💭

It really sucks to hear that 4 years after I graduated, MT students of color at my undergrad institution are still experiencing racism..most everyone acted like I was crazy while I was actively experiencing it so another lived experience is validating, but so disappointing.

Grief is confusing and raw & even after 13 years it can hit you like a truck out of nowhere. The 13 year old girl somewhere inside of me who watched her father suffer for years before dying is still lost in mourning for her dad and for the life she didn’t get with him in it.

Aren’t landlord’s supposed to give you notice if they need to enter your apartment? My landlord almost had me calling 911 this morning when I woke up to extremely loud & incessant knocking and then heard my door open while I’m half asleep. I was on the verge of tears in fear.
