At our next community of practice meeting, we’ll be talking about if and how we can maintain a long term view while bouncing from crisis to crisis. If this is on your mind too, we’d love to see you there.

We can’t change systems if our language and approaches to change are inaccessible and don’t meaningfully shift where power sits. So we’re testing some new ways to talk about systemic change. We’re constantly adapting these and we’d love to know what others think.

We really want to know how people feel about this 👇 We know the concepts of systems change can really helpfully put language and structure to a different way of understanding the world, but often we feel it can border on exclusionary. We’d love to know what you think.

When we first shared this blog last month, we didn’t know how people would respond to us talking about how we as a sector often make systems change feel really inaccessible. What I’ve heard is that a lot of people feel the same way. 1/2

Two years on from our initial research, it’s been interesting to reflect on how approaches to funding for place-based systems change have developed, and where they might have stayed the same. @KeziaJ_H shares some reflections on this from our community of practice 👇

I wrote this as I find that people often see systems change in very different ways. In reality, it’s all the approaches in this blog, but it felt helpful to show where people seem to start their systems journey. I’d love to hear if this resonates with others.
