Great to be part of #SHARP2024 panel on ‘Women, publishing and power in & beyond South Africa’ (my focus on Schreiner) along with @bethlrx and @vanillacaramel, chaired by @emmashercliff. A key theme was the interplay between different types of publication incl the more ephemeral.

Wonderful @TC_Africa read by @bethlrx commemorating Peter Randall in launching apartheid-resistant publisher Ravan Press and its Spro-Cas origins. Been trying to collect key Ravan texts over the years & remember buying 2 Spro-Cas books as an student in the UCT bookshop way back
