Okay I think I have now completed all the important firsts post-surgery:
✅walking unassisted
✅no. 1
✅solid food
✅no. 2
✅shower
✅changed out of pyjamas
✅googling the position they put your body in during surgery and painfully laughing at the absurdity of it all

Apologies for my slow responses. My health and energy remain poor and single parenting comes with no breaks. Today my son once again failed his allergy skin test. Not surprising but a little discouraging. #fuckcancer

@OTLHENAC @djeglin @FattusPrickus Oh! My mistake! They must have recently changed the rules! I know in Asia it was for sure allowed before because I kept seeing TikTok’s where the Disney adults were meeting the characters they dressed up as and some of the ‘influencer’ costumes were nicer lol!

@bethy_poo82 @djeglin @FattusPrickus Not if you’re over 12 and the staff consider that it could be mistaken for a character costume. It’s a bit of a judgement call re where to draw the line on their part though 😂

I love people with ADHD because they never actually forget anything. You just have to say the right words to activate them like a sleeper cell and then they awaken with all of the knowledge on a very niche subject they studied for 3 months straight 6 years ago.

@FattusPrickus Huh. I thought adults weren’t allowed to dress up as Disney characters, princesses etc? Was certainly the case when I took my girl to Florida last year. Disney adults were just wearing teeshirts and ears.
