People who understand the intersection of AI, policy, security, and governance won’t be replaced Nyakundi, they’ll become indispensable. The real risk isn’t being in a particular “field,” but refusing to adapt, treating AI as a gimmick, mistaking automation for authority, or assuming tools can replace responsibility. As AI spreads, value will shift toward those who can question outputs, interpret context, set boundaries, and remain accountable for decisions that affect people and societies. There are also domains where AI will primarily augment, not replace, human roles because they demand judgment under uncertainty, ethics, trust, and lived experience. In medicine, AI can assist, but clinicians carry liability and make final calls. In law and public policy, AI informs, but humans decide. In security and intelligence, AI flags signals, while humans assess intent. In teaching and mentorship, AI supports learning, but humans inspire. Leadership, diplomacy, and creative direction still rely on persuasion, negotiation, empathy, and taste qualities that no model can fully own.

Is there no field AI will not disrupt?

So many people are chasing “more money.” A bigger salary. A bigger deal. A side hustle. And yes, that’s good. Growth is important. But here’s the truth nobody emphasizes enough: It doesn’t matter how much you earn if you don’t save and invest. Think about this: If you earn Ksh 100,000 and spend Ksh 95,000, you’re no better than someone earning Ksh 20,000 and saving Ksh 5,000. If you normalize spending all your income, you will always be stuck in the same cycle. It's not about how much money passes through your hands, it’s about how much stays. Your savings and investments are what will give you that stability you are looking for. So don’t just ask, “How can I make more?” Also ask, “How can I keep more of what I already make?” At the end of the day, wealth isn’t about income. It’s about discipline. #NjakweOnFinance
