Hehehe. For me Ms. Williams the "who are you people ?" is my catch phrase expression for a constellation of people Ms. Fortini knows who each seem to have more than one high level talent. And who seem to be able to kind of casually, offhandedly produce an extreme high quality item in one of their talents as a bit of a lark. So the world may not see that happening, but I do. You for example area a professional writer. But you snap pictures like Truth Or Consequences or your Portrait of Amanda Fortini in the moment which are among the best photographs and I go 😯 and I get to say "who are you people ?" which is fun for me! 😊 (Your portrait of Amanda Fortini remains the best portrait of anyone I can think of. I've distilled it down and I think the reason most people don't see that is because... it doesn't look fake!! Which is funny to me but I think it's true.😁 Look at a few portraits and see what I mean.) So in this instance, you wrote a poem more or less on accident while you were falling asleep. Ok, that happens to artists. Beatles had stuff like that happen sometimes. But see, by and large I don't "get" poetry Ms. Williams. You wrote a highly abstract poem, while falling asleep, that *I* understand!! That's why I said "who are you people?" 😊 As for who you are, I can tell you this much about you and maybe not a ton more. You are a "somebody" Ms. Williams. You are a very distinct "you". For me, I guess it could be said I didn't know who I was until I hit my 60s. I'm still learning but it has solidified more now. For me the cornerstone of it if I had to give an answer; I would say I am the son of my parents, the grandson of my grandparents, the great grandson of those who came here to the USA, brother to my siblings, friend of those who love me and who I love, and the product of everyone who ever helped me so I wasn't destroyed by the world, and child of God. That's who I am. My prediction Ms. Williams is that as you find out more and more about who you are, you are going to like it.
