@foodborn My Flemish Grandmother arrived in Ireland as a refugee in 1914. She quickly came to love @bewleyscafe. After her death it dawned on us that #Bewleys was one of the few places in Dublin serving good coffee then. Having grown up in a cafe-culture, she craved good coffee too!

It’s safe to say that the surrounds of Bewley’s Grafton St. are inspiring. From our stained glass to our roaring fireplace, these iconic surroundings have inspired iconic works from Irish artists, like ‘Rat Trap’ which was written by Bob Geldof during a visit to our café.

Spectacular moments are best served with a delicious coffee, and we’ve seen many of them happen here at Bewley’s Grafton Street. It’s the heart of Dublin city after all. Here’s to many more.
